- A few things....
- first... I have been in the job market for many years now
- and my spelling problems have never even so much as hindered my
- ablity to get a job. (I was only fired once and it was office polotics
- I have quit many times for distain of my employers).
- You made the misake of asuming I am not already in the
- job market.... and if things work the way they are suposto my spelling
- would hinder my employment... But if they worked the way they should
- I wouldn't have passed my writing comp. My dyslexia wouldn't have
- been ignored and my post wouldn't be so badly spelled.
- Second... This wasn't a simple lack of learning and isn't
- something just going back though school would help.. I feal they
- hindered me more than anything as it is and I don't even feal
- comfortable in an educational establishment anymore.
- Thirdly. A spell checker is good for the ocasional
- typo but gets worthless when the misspellings reach 20 or more
- mispelled words per page. Being dyslexic it's hard for me to
- tell wether the word in the dictionary is the one I typed...
- Finaly. I am dyslexic and I'm doing all I can to
- deal with my problem. It was ignored in school so I have
- to deal with it myself.
- It anoys me becouse I comunicate my thoughts better this
- way than by speaking... but I can't spell and so my thoughts arn't
- alwase understood.
